About Cop Town

Real experience. Real perspective.

Cop Town Podcast was created by retired law-enforcement professionals Joe Mondello and Jose Antonio Pantoja as a place for honest, experience-based conversations about the realities of policing—and the parts of life that continue beyond it.

Why It Exists

The Thoughts that rarely happen publicly.

Law enforcement can affect nearly every part of a person's life—career, identity, health, family, relationships, leadership, faith, and the way someone sees the world around them.

Cop Town exists to discuss those realities from the perspective of people who actually worked inside the profession.

The goal is not to create outrage, defend everything, or criticize everything. It is to provide context, share experience, ask difficult questions, and have conversations that are often more complicated than what fits into a headline or social-media clip.

Some conversations are directly about policing. Others are about mental health, physical preparedness, retirement, relationships, faith, identity, recovery, leadership, and figuring out what comes next.

The profession is part of the story. It is not the entire story.
